Intex has launched the i-Buddy Connect 3G, successor of i-Buddy Connect tablet that was launched last year. It has a 7-inch capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It comes with a 3.2MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front-facing camera. It also comes with pre-loaded Educlass: a smart school application with NCERT text books from class 1- 12 , large repository of question banks and interactive content for various subjects.
It has dual SIM card slots that offers 3G support and also offers video conferencing and voice calling features. It comes pre-loaded with most popular social networking and informative applications such as Nimbuzz, Skype and Facebook, Yahoo Messenger and GChat. This would compete with the Karbonn TA-FONE A37 that went on sale earlier this month.
