Facebook has updated the Messenger app for the iPhone to version 2.4, that brings support for stickers finally. Facebook for iPhone and iPad was the first app to get support for stickers in messaging. Facebook Messenger for Android got stickers in an update couple of weeks back. You can tap the smiley icon when you are typing a message to add large stickers to your messages.
You can get more stickers in the Sticker Store just by taping the basket. Stickers are free to download, you can download as many stickers as you want, and also quickly remove them from the collection. In addition to the stickers, this update also brings back option to delete or archive conversations from your inbox just by swiping. Facebook has included this feature back by popular request. This version also adds some bug fixes.
If you don’t have stickers yet, don’t panic, it would be available over the next few weeks. Get the Facebook Messenger for iPhone from the Apple iTunes Store for free, if you don’t have the app yet.
