Alcatel has announced a partnership with Salora International Limited, manufacturer and distributor in India. This tie up would give Salora distribution and sales rights for its lineup of smart phones in India. Salora would sell the One touch smartphones through traditional trade in North and East India and through modern and online trade in the rest of the country according to the agreement.
This move would help the smartphones available at major retail outlets as well as all distributors and sub distributors through Salora’s supply chain network. Salora sells their own smartphones and tablets across the country. They entered into the mobile phone business back in 2011 and launched their first smartphone earlier this year.
Alcatel has launched 4 smartphones, One Touch Idol, One Touch Idol Ultra, One Touch Glory, and One Touch Scribe Easy in India.
