HTC One Gold limited edition unveiled for 2,750 GBP

Apple introduced the iPhone 5s gold edition recently, BlackBerry launched the Q10 Gold Edition and even Samsung joined the party with the Galaxy S4 Gold edition in Gold Brown and Gold Pink colors. Now HTC has unveiled the Gold HTC One. Unlike the other gold colored phones, this one is made of 18 carat gold and costs 2,750 GBP ( Rs. 2.72 lakhs approx.). This is the expensive HTC phone ever created and only 5 such phones would be created, says HTC.

Apart from the outer gold plated shell, the Gold HTC One has all the features present in the original HTC One, including the Ultrapixel camera with HTC Zoe, dual front-facing speakers with HTC BoomSound and more. HTC introduced the Red HTC One and Vivid Blue HTC One. The HTC One was released in Silver and Black colors initially.

HTC has released the phone to celebrate the 18th Anniversary of the MOBO Awards. HTC is offering one of the five Gold HTC One smartphones to the winner of Best Newcomer category sponsored by HTC at this year’s MOBO Awards in Glasgow on 19th October.
