iBall has launched Andi Uddaan, the latest phone in the Android with safety features for women. It has a dedicated SOS button at the back of the phone to alert people, comes with ICE (In case of Emergency) that allows you to add personal details blood group, medical history, details of persons to be contacted in case emergency. and offers GPS tracking by up to 10 people. iBall is calling it India’s first safety smartphone designed for females. It also has Swarovski Zirconia Crystals to attract women.
Once the SOS button is pressed it,
- Immediately sets on a loud siren that alerts the people nearby along with messages and calls automatically made to the five pre-defined contacts
- Sends a message alerting of an emergency situation to the pre-defined contacts along with the location of the person based on geo codes.
- Sends out a Facebook update
You can also add two geo-fences for receiving custom alerts. You can define the geo-fence on map location and can be programmed to get alerts by mail or sms when a person enters or exits the fence area. The phone is packed with features. The main highlight is the 5-megapixel auto focus front-facing camera with BSI sensor that is rarely seen on phones under 10k. It also has dual Stereo Speakers and packs a 2000 mAh battery.
