Among the many products that Samsung is announcing and showcasing at the CES 2014, there are a couple of Android tablets belonging to the Galaxy Tab Pro series. As the name suggests, the new series of Tab Pro tablets means that Samsung is bringing the top of the line specifications and features to its tablet series. We go hands on with the Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 which is the smallest and relatively lower specifications wise. You can check out the video right below.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is a 8.4 inch tablet as the tablet seemed to move to the 8inch category from the 7inch category. The specifications of the Galaxy Tab Pro are top of the line with a very high resolution display – 2560×1600 pixels spread out across 8.4inches giving it a pixel density of 359 pip. It is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 SoC, Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB RAM. There is 16/32GB internal storage and expandable storage with a microSD card slot. On the back, there is a 8MP camera that can record 1080p videos at 60fps and a 2MP front facing camera. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro runs on the latest version of Android – KitKat 4.4.2 overlaid by TouchWiz.
The build quality of the tablet is quite good. It follows a similar design language of the recent Samsung phones with a plastic front and faux metal rim on the sides. The faux leather back which made its debut on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is seen here as well. Check out more images below.
