Xolo launched the Q1000 Opus, the company’s first quad-core smartphone with a quad-core Broadcom chip in the Q CORE series last month. We reviewed the smartphone recently and found some bugs in the camera that crashes the camera often. Xolo has released a minor firmware update that fixes these issues. This update also improves the auto focus problems in the camera. Check out the complete changelog below.
Fixes and Improvements in the new (Build XOLO_Q1000 Opus_S018_20131218) update for the Q1000 Opus
- Fixed crash in camera after many times of opening and closing
- Fixed problem of camera preview getting struck after clicking the picture
- Fixed crash in face detection library found during monkey test
- Auto focus improved
As you can see from the screenshot above, the new update is just 6.42MB and is available Over-the-Air (OTA) for the Q1000 Opus users.
