Sony unveiled the Xperia Z1 Compact, the company’s latest smartphone in the Xperia Z series at the CES 2014 last month. We brought you the unboxing of the device earlier today, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. The device is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) 28nm HPm Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.15 GHz with Adreno 330 GPU, similar to the Xperia Z1. This has a 4.3-inch 720p screen and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). Let’s check out the performance in a range of synthetic benchmark tests.

Quadrant Benchmark
The Xperia Z1 compact is just behind the Note 3 with 21707 points, in the Quadrant Benchmark.
AnTuTu Benchmark 4
In the AnTuTu Benchmark 4, the Z1 compact scored over 35 thousand points and grabs the 3rd spot.
Vellamo 2.0 HTML5
The Xperia Z1 Compact tops the Vellamo 2 HTML5 browser benchmarks.
Vellamo 2.0 Metal
The Z1 compact managed to score 1167 points inthe Vellamo 2 Metal CPU subsystem performance test.
Linpack Single Thread
In the Linpack single thread benchmark, the Z1 compact managed to clock around 408.9 MFLOPS.
Linpack Multi-Thread
In the Linpack multi-thread benchmark, the Z1 compact managed to clock around 664 MFLOPS.
NenaMark 2
It clocked 60 FPS in the Nenamark 2 GPU benchmark.
GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex (On screen)
In the GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex benchmark, the Xperia Z1 Compact clocked 35 fps.
Basemark X HD (Onscreen)
The Sony Xperia Z1 Compact tops the Basemark X HD OnScreen benchmark by clocking around 32 fps, better than the Qualcomm Snapdragon Development platform, which also had a 720p screen.
Basemark X HD (Offscreen)
The Z1 compact clocked around 14.5 fps in the Basemark X HD OffScreen benchmark.
Basemark OS II
