Samsung is popular for different variants of smartphones under based on the name of its flagship device. The Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini Value Edition was launched in Netherlands earlier this week. The Samsung Galaxy S3 Slim, (SM-G3812B) a budget variant of the Samsung Galaxy S3 has surfaced on the official Samsung Brazil website. It has a 4.52-inch (960 x 540 Pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).
Most of the features of the Galaxy S3 Slim are similar to the Galaxy Core LTE, that was announced last month, but this is powered by a quad-core processor instead of dual-core processor in the Galaxy Core LTE and lacks LTE and NFC support.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 Slim comes in Black and White colors. Still no word on pricing yet. The phone recently went on sale in China recently under the name Galaxy Win Pro, priced at 1698 Chinese Yuan (Rs. 16,845 approx). It is not clear if Samsung plans to launch the smartphone globally.
