Aircel It’s Time to Move On !

You must have come across the brand promo of Aircel across various TV channels. I just stumbled over the same cool TV commercial wherein the Indian Cricket Team were stuck in the midst of heavy rail fall and the team captain – M S Dhoni uses his Aircel based mobile phone to search, book and pay for room services with the ad concluding with the tagline “Aircel – Its Time to Move on”. So, after watching the video, even I feel its really high time to move on. 🙂

The above video is really worth watching if you are either a mobile lover/ cricket fan. 😉

PC World reported about a vulnerable and dangerous flaw in one the basic black and white models of Nokia – Nokia 1100.

According to the reports and fraud inspection experts, a specific batch of Nokia 1100 produced by some European manufacturer has some flaws using which, a criminal/hacker can intercept SMS that can be exploited to hack bank accounts and as such, the phone that used to cost not more than 100 euro is now highly in demand and some are even willing to pay thousands of Euros for such faulty handsets. Access Yahoo Flawlessly on Mobile with Yahoo Mobile App !

The Yahoo Mobile App was initially announced in the World Mobile Congress (WMC) this year and was later made available publicly. The mobile app is available for almost all the mobile OS – Android, Symbian, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, iPhone.

Basically, the application is available in 2 versions i.e. one based on mobile web whereas the other one is meant for smart phone which is said to be more powerful supporting widgets and some other advanced functionality. Though, we are yet to touch them out personally, but the Yahoo mobile app has got many great reviews.

Yes, Apple will soon cross one billion downloads of applications available across Apps store and then it would be celebrating the 1 billion apps download mark by giving away huge amount of gifts. TRAI: AIRTEL is the MOST CONGESTED Network

Do not get shocked to hear this!! Its obvious that the service provider growing with the fastest pace will definitely be congested. Though, there were confusion about the congestion among the 2 leading players, but its now confirmed via this official reports.

In its report, TRAI says, “Airtel has emerged as the most congested GSM network for the period of Oct-Dec."

So, I am just wondering, what are the guys at Airtel are doing to sort it out and get thing better?

Soon there will be new Mobile Numbering Pattern in India!

Many of you must have noticed, most of the mobile number series with 9 level (starting with ‘9’) have either exhausted or being pre-occupied by any other services.. For example ‘95’ series in India was being booked only for landline customers, using which a landline customer can make STD calls without dialing ‘0’ instead fixing 95 before the number.
