XOLO Q800 with a quad-core processor, Android 4.1 launching this month

XOLO will launch an Android Jelly Bean phone running on quad-core processor by mid-March. Q800 will be the first quad core phone from Xolo this year. Q800 is expected to be tagged within the price range of Rs. 12,000 and Rs. 13,500. The phone will have a 4.5 inch screen. Xolo is expected to launch an entire series of quad core phones under the nomenclature Qcore. Xolo will launch 4 quad-core devices in the next two months. Xolo has its plans set to make 2013 a big year for the company. Within a span of a month, Xolo has another big product set to hit the market. A 5-inch phone that fits the hand and the budget, comfortably. Xolo A1000 has a width of just 70mm, that makes working on the phone with a single hand , much easier. It is just 8.8 mm thick. Xolo X500 was launched in India last week.  We brought you the hands-on images and the benchmarks, here we finally bring you the unboxing. It packs a 3.5 inch (480 x 320 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz Atom Lexington Z2420 processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

Xolo X500 benchmarks – Intel Atom Z2420 CPU and Power VR SGX540 GPU

Xolo X500 was launched in India last week. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. The Xolo X500 is powered by a 1.2 GHz Intel Atom Lexington Z2420 single-core processor with Power VR SGX540 GPU. The Xolo X900 that was launched in India last year is powered by a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Z2460 Medfield processor, but the new CPU is aimed at low-cost Android smartphones. Even the new chip has Intel’s hyper threading technology that offers better mutitasking capabilities. Let us see how it stacks up with the other Android smartphones. Sony Xperia ZL hands-on Photo Gallery

Sony unveiled the Xperia ZL at CES 2013 earlier this week. We got some hands-on time with the device at the Sony booth at CES. The Xperia ZL is packs almost similar features as the Xperia Z including a 5-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) Reality display with mobile Bravia Engine 2 and a 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor with Adreno 320 GPU. Huawei unveiled the Ascend Mate along with the Ascend D2 earlier today at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013. The Ascend Mate has a 6.1-inch 720p display unlike the Ascend D2 that has a 5-inch 1080p display. But the Ascend Mate has a 1.5 GHz quad-core Hi-Silicon K3V2 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) similar to the D2. Micromax A110 Superfone Canvas 2 vs Intex Aqua 5.0 Photo Gallery
