According to the survey conducted by NPD group, U.S consumers have started buying smartphones with larger displays that are above 4 inches. Rumor: Motorola to reduce Xoom shipments gradually – Xoom 2 expected?
Motorola is expected to ship 700,000-800,000 units of their first Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) tablet Xoom in the first quarter of 2011. With total shipment of 200,000 units in the month of February, which should reach 400,000-500,000 at the end of month of march, their forecast looks good according to upstream suppliers.
