Adobe Flash Lite gets another update for Nokia 5800
Adobe Flash Lite for Nokia 5800, that gives you access to high quality videos and enables rich content on the web to be played on you phone, has just got an update to the version 3.1.4 from its previous version 3.1.

Ovi Mail hits the 1 million mark milestone
With over one million accounts activated in just over six months, Ovi Mail is quickly emerging as the email account for the developing world.
Since it is specifically designed for on device set-up, people can get their first email address and create and manage their accounts without any PC at all.

Nokia 5800i passes the FCC test: Looks very similar to 5800 but loses Wi-fi
After 5800 has turned out to be a major hit for Nokia, they are now readying for a small update to its first touch screen handset in the form of Nokia 5800i XpressMusic phone. After you hear the name, you may think that this is a upgrade over Nokia 5800 with some extra feature but sorry to disappoint, this model is not an upgrade over Nokia 5800 but in fact a downgrade over the present model, The Wi-fi connectivity has been removed from this particular model. Nokia 5800 XM Firmware v30.0.011 Out. So What’s New?
Yay! The much anticipated Firmware upgrade (v 30.0.011) for Nokia 5800 is out. Once I upgraded the firmware of my phone to v30.0.011, I started searching for any visible changes on my phone and much to my dismay, found no changes at all.
But after using the phone for some time, I realized that the device has suddenly become more responsive, the RAM handling on the phone has improved a lot from its previous version. Mobile Big Wigs to roll out their own desi application stores
Leading Mobile Phone manufacturers like Nokia, Apple and Research in Motion (RIM) are in the process of rolling out localised versions of their application stores in India. These application stores will have a collection of applications which are customized for the Indian market.
Nokia, which recently started its Ovi Store, has plans to roll out the localised version by December this year. Though in the initial stages, Ovi Store will be available only in smartphones loaded with the Symbian S60 operating system, but Nokia has promised that it will be enabling the app store for all its phones by early next year. Nokia 5800 v31.0.0.15 Firmware Update Coming soon
Good News for all the Nokia 5800 users, A new firmware update (v 31.0.0.15) is in the offing.
Recently, Nokia Conversations released their “Nokia Ovi Suite 2.0 Introduction” video on Youtube. But if you watch the video attentively, at the 0:57 second of the video, you can clearly see that the Firmware version of the Nokia 5800 is showing as v.31.0.015. And also Steve Litchfield of All About Symbian has also quoted in one of their articles that v31 firmware was the stable release inside Nokia a couple of weeks ago and he suspects it will appear in public this week.
