Uber has slashed fares for the low-cost uberX and its cheapest uberGO service across India. uberBLACK has also received a price cut in some cities. Some cities get 25% price cut and some get 30%, 35% and even 40% price cut. Base fare is somewhat the same in most cities, but cos per kilometer has been reduced drastically. Apple has started sending invites for its Spring forward event before the Apple Watch goes on sale in April. The event will take place at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco. The Apple Watch was announced in September last year along with the new iPhones and will come in two different sizes, three different styles – the regular model, a Sport version aimed at active consumers, and an ultra-premium Apple Watch Edition which will be covered in 18-karat gold. Korean operator KT has announced that it has partnered with Samsung and Qualcomm to showcase world’s first LTE-H (HetNet) technology at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 in Barcelona next week.
