Meet the Goodspeed Mobile Hotspot which is a 3G MiFi with 10 , yes ten sim card slots. The product comes from a Finnish company Uros founded by 2 Ex-Nokia employees.The Goodspeed is a special MiFi or Wireless hotspot which automatically uses any of the 10 SIM cards depending on your current location for internet access. FaceTime is one awesome feature if you work with multiple Apple devices such as the iPhone , iPad , iPod touch or Macs. You can experience video calls between these devices for free at a decent quality. The downside is that FaceTime for devices such as iPhone and iPad works only over a WiFi connection. The irony is the latest iPad supports 4G LTE networks with mind blowing speeds , yet you cannot have a FaceTime call. This might change and Apple might eventually allow FaceTime calls over 3G networks going by a screenshot in iOS 5.1.1 from a Romanian blog.

With Aircel’s new offering of Pocket Internet Smart , the company aims to “revolutionize the landscape of mobile internet“.
When HTC launched the 3G+WiFi of it’s 7 inch Android tablet in India for Rs.39890 in June this year , we were immensely disappointed about the price tag. It was an impressive tablet with decent battery life. Now if you gave the Flyer a pass for the same reason, good news for you. The price of the tablet has been cut by almost 50%. While I was walking down the buzzing streets of Hong Kong , I came across a rather interesting banner talking about the World’s First 4G LTE Service from HK CSL a Hong Kong Mobile Operator which is a subsidiary Telstra Corporation Limited , Australia . 1010 is the premium brand of CSL offering mobile broadband services. CSL had launched the world’s first LTE/DC-HSPA+ network in 2010 and we got to test the service at a 1010 store in Hong Kong. We managed to get hold of a IDEA 3G connection as the operator has silently rolled out 3G services in Chennai and Tamil Nadu. As you all might know , IDEA does not have a license in this circle and has inked a deal with Vodafone to offer 3G services here. Our test device was the ultra fast HTC Flyer which supports HSPA networks upto 14.4 Mbps. Reliance Communications or RCOM has outed its 3G data plans for the iPad2 and it makes a lot of sense as many iStores selling iPad2s in India are owned by Reliance Retail a sister company.Reliance has been boasting of a superior 3G network through it’s ad campaigns recently and we are not exactly sure if claims are true.
