Qualcomm has issued a statement denying that the rumors stating that the Snapdragon 820 has over-heating issues is false. The Snapdragon 810 from Qualcomm did face over-heating which in turn gave rise to quite a few problems on the initial few devices that it ran on such as the LG G Flex 2 and HTC One M9.

Qulacomm has just unveiled the Hexagon 680 DSP as the DSP that is being used by the Snapdragon 820 processor. DSPs are used for performing tasks that can be done faster and/or be done using less power as compared to the processor.
Back in January, Qualcomm’s roadmap for the year was leaked and it revealed their plans to bring out the Snapdragon 815 and 820 processors. Now we have received more details regarding the Snapdragon 820 processor which is rumoured to come with a 3GHz Kyro CPU manufactured by Samsung.
HTC, as a company, was going the wrong way for a while. For example, in May 2013, the company released a Snapdragon 200-powered Desire 600 with a 4.5 inch qHD display that cost people 27k rupees. The company had vowed to fix these things and bring its products back in line with consumer expectations, after which the Desire 816 happened. It was a mid range phablet with an affordable price tag and solid specifications. The Desire 820 (Rs. 24,999) is its spiritual successor, carrying forward all the positives of the 816, trying to add more value and keep up with the times. Does it succeed? Lets find out.
Nokia has sent out an invite to several media outlets for a launch event in London , UK happening on May 14.The invite says that the “Nokia Lumia Story Continues” on May 14th. The previous major Lumia launch happened at MWC in Barcelona where the company launched the Lumia 520 and Lumia 720 which are already available in India.

Nokia just announced today that it has begun shipping its first Windows Phone 8 devices in select markets to operators and retail outlets and it will go on sale in UK and France later this week.Russia and Germany would be getting the Lumia 920 and 820 after that. Several other countries including India will see the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 being launched sometime in November ( no exact date or price yet). The same source which posted some photos of HTC’s upcoming tablet has now shared purported pictures of 2 upcoming Nokia Lumia smartphones. The image above points to Nokia Lumia 820 with a 4.3 inch screen. The handset seems to carry multiple colours ranging from the usual black and white to yellow, red, grey,blue and violet.
