Acer has launched Liquid Jade and Liquid E700, the company’s latest smartphones in the Liquid series in India. The Liquid Jade has a has a 5-inch HD IPS display based on Zero Air Gap technology with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The Liquid E700 too comes with a 5-inch HD display. Both these are powered by a quad-core processors and run on Android 4.4 (KitKat). The Liquid Jade has a 13-megapixel rear camera with 0.3s focus time, F1.8 aperture, LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
A few days back we spent the weekend in Edinburgh courtesy of Acer and whilst sampling the Scottish delights that include deep fried Mars Bars and Haggis, we also spent time with some of Acer’s new consumer gadgets. Acer announced the higher mid-range Android smartphone – Acer Liquid Jade at the Computex 2014 event in Taipei. The phone comes bundled with Acer Liquid Leap fitness band in certain markets. The Acer Liquid Jade seems to be the exact combination of the mid-range smartphone being powered by a MediaTek quad-core processor and a 720p HD 5inch screen.
Acer has announced its Liquid Jade smartphone and Liquid Leap fitness band ahead of Computex 2014. The company teased these devices New York, now the company has revealed few more details of these devices. The Liquid Leap is a smart band that lets you track your fitness such as steps, running distance, calories burnt and sleeping cycle. It connects to your smartphone through Bluetooth (4.0) so that it can show incoming call and SMS notifications on a 1-inch always on touch screen display.
