AMD Ryzen 7000 series 5nm desktop processors announced: AM5 platform with DDR5, PCIe 5.0

AMD unveiled its latest advancements in computing technology today at COMPUTEX 2022, showcasing its latest advancements in high-performance computing, after teasing it earlier this year at the CES. The Ryzen 7000 Series desktop processors with the new “Zen 4” architecture were shown off by the company, and they are expected to deliver significant performance gains when they are released in the fall of 2022. AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D with 3D V-Cache announced; Ryzen 7000 series ‘Zen 4’ 5nm CPU with DDR5, PCIe 5.0, AM5 platform in H2 2022

After teasing back in October, AMD today introduced the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, the company’s first desktop processor with AMD 3D V-Cache technology. It is still based on “Zen 3” core architecture, and the company claims that it is the world’s fastest gaming processor that offers an average of 5% faster 1080p gaming across select titles than the competition.
