Google is out with Android distribution numbers for the month of October. Android Oreo that was released little over a month ago, has entered the charts this month and is now present on 0.2% of all the devices. Google started rolling out Android 8.0 Nougat to Nexus and Pixel devices in late August.

Google has released Android distribution numbers for the month of August. Android Nougat adoption has increased to 13.5%, up 2% over last month. Nougat 7.0 was up 1.7% to 12.3% while, Nougat 7.1 increased to 1.2% from .9%. It is possible that before next month’s distribution, we will already see the arrival of Android O. OnePlus has confirmed that OnePlus 2 will not get Android 7.0 Nougat update. Launched in 2015, OnePlus 2 currently runs Android Marshmallow and will not be updated with latest Android OS, OnePlus confirmed the same in an interview with Android Authority.

Google has released Android distribution numbers for the month of May. Android Nougat adoption is increasing steadily and has now reached to 7.1%, up from 4.9% last month. Nougat 7.0 is present on 6.6% of Android devices while 0.5% have Android 7.1 installed.

Google is out with its monthly Android distribution chart for the month of February. Android Nougat has finally crossed 1 percent mark nearly six months after its release. Nougat is present on just 1.2 percent of android devices of which only 0.9 percent of devices run Nougat 7.0 while Nougat 7.1 runs only on 0.3 percent of devices.
