Twitter acknowledges bug that exposed protected Tweets of some Android users for years

Twitter for Android has been effected with an issue where ‘Protect Your Tweets’setting has been disabled if a certain amount of changes were made. The company says that it is aware of the issue and users may have been impacted by this issue if they had protected Tweets turned on in the settings, and made certain changes to account settings such as changing the email address associated with your account between November 3, 2014, and January 14, 2019. Samsung releases Android Pie roll out schedule for eligible smartphones and tablets

Apart from rolling out the stable Pie update to S9 and S9+, Samsung has also provided a detailed timeline of when the new One UI interface based on Pie will be available for which device. Samsung has finally started rolling out Android Pie update to Galaxy S9 and S9+. The stable Android Pie update based on One UI is rolling out to the Galaxy S9 and S9+ in Germany. The update is released for those running on Android Oreo and Pie beta testers as well. The software version for the final update is G960FXXU2CRLI and G965FXXU2CRLI for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ respectively. Worldwide smartphone shipments expected to further decline by 3% in 2018, will return to growth in 2019: IDC

According to IDC, worldwide smartphone shipments are expected to decline by 3% in 2018 before returning to low single-digit growth in 2019 and through 2022. Despite the on-going US-China trade war, IDC says that it believes that continued developments from emerging markets, combined with potential around 5G and new product form factors, will bring the smartphone market back to positive growth.
