Few weeks after the launch of iOS 7, Apple’s Vice President of Engineering for iOS Henri Lamiraux has left the company, according to a report from 9to5 Mac. He has mentioned on his Facebook page that the has left the job at Apple to retire. He joined Apple in 1990 as a Mac software engineer. He was moved iOS team around 2005, working with the team for 8 years  as director of software engineering for iOS and senior director of engineering for iOS. Apple fixes the lock screen vulnerability with iOS 6.1.3 update

Just a month after the iOS 6.1.2, Apple has now rolled out iOS 6.1.3 in order to fix a vulnerability. The vulnerability in question is the lock screen bypass that was hacked through a simple combination of fake emergency calls and key presses. With iOS 6.1.3, Apple have fixed this exact vulnerability and it is now available for download. The size of the download is around 18MB as seen above, which is a really small update by Apple’s standards.

Apple releases iOS 5.1.1 update for iPad, iPod touch and iPhone
