Apple iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 with 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch OLED Super Retina XDR display, 5G announced; India price starts at Rs. 69900

At its special event Apple announced the iPhone 12, the company’s latest iPhone, and the successor of iPhone 11 and a smaller iPhone 12 mini, both with support for 5G. The iPhone 12 mini and the 12 come with 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch OLED Super Retina XDR displays, respectively and have support for HDR and Dolby Vision. These come with new Ceramic Shield protection with 4x better drop performance, thanks to a new high temperature crystallisation step that grows nano-ceramic crystals within the glass matrix. The phones are powered by A14 Bionic 5nm Chip with 11.8 billion transistors and a 6-core design and feature IP68 water resistance (6 meters for up to 30 minutes). Apple iPhone 12 series price, features surface ahead of October 13 event

Apple is all set to introduce its iPhone 12 series in an online event on October 13th. Now the alleged price, sale date, versions, colours and some features have surfaced in China. This once again reveals that all the phones have 5G support and the US models will also have 5G mmWave support. The models don’t come with earphones and chargers in the box, as rumoured earlier.
