Google’s Project Zero has reported and publicly disclosed a “high severity” flaw in the macOS kernel which can grant an attacker access to a users computer without their knowledge. Security researchers discovered that if a modification is made to a user-owned mounted filesystem image, the virtual management system isn’t notified of those changes. This lets attacker access to perform malicious actions on that mounted filesystem without the end user ever knowing about it. Apple, in an article posted on App Store Connect, detailed that iOS, macOS, and tvOS app developers will soon be able to offer discounted subscriptions to past subscribers in an attempt to win those customers back. Apple patent hints at a phone with a flexible display
It looks like the foldable tech is slowly catching up, as OEMs including Xiaomi, Huawei, Samsung are all working on a foldable phone for quite some time. New company to join the list is Apple who has updated a patent with drawings of a foldable clamshell phone. This is a continuation of a patent originally filed in 2011 and updated in 2016 with a drawing of what looks like an iPhone with a flexible display. Apple has started informing app developers to remove or disclose their use of analytics code that allows them to record how a user interacts with their iPhone apps or face removal from the app store.
