Apple FaceTime bug has allowed the caller to listen to audio and watch the video of the recipient even if he doesn’t pick up the call. This bug has let Apple to temporarily disable the FaceTime server and the company has officially apologized for the FaceTime flaw. Apple has shut down Google’s ability to distribute its internal iOS apps, following a similar shutdown that was issued to Facebook earlier this week. According to a latest Bloomberg report, Apple is said to be planning to launch iPhones with more-powerful 3D cameras as soon as 2020, pushing the company further into AR. According to IDC, worldwide smartphone shipments reached a total of 375.4 million units during the Q4, down 4.9% YoY. This marks the fifth consecutive quarter of decline. Apparently, a bug on the Apple’s FaceTime lets you call anyone with FaceTime, and immediately hear the audio coming from their phone even before the receiver on the other end has accepted or rejected the incoming call. Apple has laid off 200 employees earlier this week from Project Titan, which is its autonomous vehicle group. Apple has announced that Microsoft Office 365 for the first time is available on the Mac App Store, thus making it easier for Mac users to download Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and the whole suite of Microsoft’s popular apps. Apple has released iOS 12.2 beta for developers. This update brings quite a few changes and feature, it also includes a new setup screen that’s used when configuring AirPods and this is currently hidden. Apple has hired Soonho Ahn executive from Samsung SDI Co., which is the battery making affiliate of Samsung Electronics Co. This move will help Apple lead its own battery department. Soonho Ahn joined Apple in December as global head of battery developments, after working as a senior vice president at Samsung SDI since 2015, according to his LinkedIn profile.
