Apple has announced that they will be allowing developers to price their iOS apps as low as Rs 10 on the App Store for customers in India. The change is to help developers price their app higher or lower in select markets as part of ‘Alternate Tier’ pricing.

BlackBerry’s latest move brings Amazon Appstore to BB10 platform
Despite BlackBerry’s multiple attempts to create a developer ecosystem around the BlackBerry 10 platform, uptake has been slow. The company tried to get around this by offering an Android runtime. Samsung Apps clocks 100 Million Downloads in just 10 months
Samsung just announced that it’s Mobile and TV application store Samsung Apps has crossed 100 Million downloads since it’s launch in June 2010. The app store now boasts of 13,000 apps and is available in 120 countries.France, Germany and Spain accounted for 40% of all downloads from the app store.

New Mobile game from BMW for iPhone users
Its raining games at the iPhone Application Store.
BMW Mini’s financial arm has launched “Mini Liquid Assets,” a mobile game available for download at no charge from the iTunes App store.
“Mini Liquid Assets” is an interactive game modelled after the traditional encased water jet games, infused with the Mini brand and intuitive controls that take advantage of the iPhone and iPod touch user interface. BMW’s Mini hopes to increase brand awareness among Apple’s coveted demographic using the application.
