We had been showing you photos of the latest devices we unboxed, like the Nokia Asha 502 and the Nokia Lumia 525. Right next in line is the Nokia Asha 503, which is based on the same new design philosophy as the Asha 502 and comes with a really nice frosty iced look for its case. We have the Asha 503 in black, which might not be as photogenic as the Asha 502 but does not look conservative as well. The gloss for the translucent outer shell is something that takes the bland dark look away and introduces some much needed shine. We just unboxed the Nokia Asha 502, and next up we have the Asha 503 Dual SIM phone, which is technically a variant of the Asha 502. The Asha 501 led the portfolio of devices based on the Asha SW platform earlier last year, but now, it is accompanied by new devices offering more choices of the same. Even by design, the unique iced look of the casings presents a compelling point for people looking at buying their first quasi-smartphones. Nokia Asha 503 Hands On

Nokia said an interesting good-bye at the Nokia World Event, Abu Dhabi before being taken over by Microsoft by announcing a few Lumia smartphones and Asha feature phones. Nokia Asha 503 was the high-end phone among three Ashas that were launched. Asha 500 shares the same design language as the other Asha 500 series devices, but comes with a new crystal-clear look fusion of ice-like transparency and bold inner color. The Nokia Asha 503 comes with a bigger 3inch display, 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 3G connectivity.

Whatsapp for Nokia Asha 501 coming next month, announces 350 million active users per month

Way back, when evleaks had leaked the Asha 500 press image(the same one that got announced today), one icon that stood out was that of Whatsapp. The most awaited app on the platform is finally revealed as coming next month with all the new Asha devices announced today at the Nokia World. And yes, it will be coming to the only Asha SW platform based device on the market today too, the Asha 501. I have been personally holding up on recommending the Asha 501 due to the lack of Whatsapp and now it’s a huge sigh of relief that it’s finally here, at least by the next month.

Nokia Asha 503 leaked, shows off dual shot casing in a press image

The Nokia World event in Abu Dhabi is just weeks away but it looks like all the phones that are scheduled to be launched have already been leaked out. Nokia are supposedly launching new Ashas at the event, as we have seen already with the leak of the Asha 500, and the same leakster evleaks has now posted a press image of the Asha 503. Modeled to look much like the Asha 501, the 503 looks to have a dual shot casing with the outer case being transparent. We saw something similar with the Asha 500 too.
