Asus MeMO Pad 7-inch Tablet with Android 4.1 launched in India for Rs. 9999

Asus has launched the MeMo Pad (ME172V) in India. It was announced last month, and comes with a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive multi-touch display, powered by  a 1GHz WonderMedia PRIZM WM8950 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 1MP front-facing camera with BSI sensor, 720p HD video capture at 30 fps and ƒ/2.0 aperture. Asus MeMO Pad 7-inch tablet running Android 4.1 announced

Asus has announced the MeMo Pad, their new affordable 7-inch tablet after the CES 2013. The Asus MeMO Pad has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive multi-touch display and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), similar to the Acer Iconia B1-A71 that was announced at CES last week, but this tablet is powered by a 1GHz WonderMedia PRIZM WM8950 processor instead of a dual-core Mediatek processor. It has a 1MP front-facing camera with BSI sensor, 720p HD video capture at 30 fps. It has non-slip diamond-patterned finish at the back.
