ASUS just introduced the ROG Phone 6, the company’s latest gaming smartphone in India and global markets, as it had promised. It packs a 6.78-inch Full HD+ Samsung’s AMOLED HDR display with 165Hz refresh rate, 720Hz touch-sampling rate, and is one of the first phones to be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It has up to 18GB of RAM for the Pro version. ASUS ROG Phone 6 detailed specs surface: 6.78″ FHD+ 165Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, up to 18GB RAM, 6000mAh battery

ASUS already confirmed the launch of ROG Phone 6, its flagship gaming phone, in a global event on July 5th. The company already posted a teaser confirming 165Hz refresh rate screen compared to 144Hz in the predecessor. It also posted a second teaser a few days that revealed that the phone will feature a large vapor chamber 30% bigger than the predecessor and the graphite sheet will be over 85% bigger, offering the best cooling performance. Update: ASUS has confirmed that the ROG Phone 6 will use Samsung AMOLED gaming screen with ROG’s exclusive calibration of 165Hz ultra-high refresh rate for the most extreme gaming experience, compared to 144Hz in the ROG Phone 5 / 5s. ASUS ZenFone 9 with 50MP + 12MP rear cameras and ASUS ROG Phone 6 design hinted in Android 12 firmware

ASUS rolled out Android 12 stable update for the Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip smartphones last week. Now update has revealed a new hidden setting for the double-tap back gesture that is available on Pixel phones. In addition, it also shows a new phone design with dual rear cameras and number 9 that hints at the design of the ASUS Zenfone 9.
