Asus Transformer Prime launched in India for Rs. 49,999


Asus has finally launched the Eee Pad Transformer Prime in India. Asus announced the tablet last November. It has 10.1-inch LED backlit display that offers 178-degree viewing angle and has a maximum brightness of 600 nits. The tablet is powered by 1.3 GHz Quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and runs on Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) (upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwich). Ascend D quad is powered by Huawei’s own K3V2 quadcore processor

I had thought of many unexpected things to be revealed at the MWC, but I never thought that Huawei will be bringing a super phone (Ascend D quad) running on a quadcore processor manufactured by themselves. Wow, and they are calling this process the fastest processor up to date and it might be true.

Asus Transformer Prime Bootloader unlock tool now available for download


Asus has finally released the Bootloader unlock tool for the Transformer Prime tablet as they announced last month. This would be useful for the modding community who would like to have the bootloader unlocked and also for people who would like to install custom ROM on their tablet. Asus Transformer Prime TF700T with 10-inch 1920 x 1200 res display announced

Asus has unveiled the Transformer Prime TF700T, upgraded version of the Transformer Prime TF201. This features a 10.1-inch (1920×1200 pixels) HD  Super IPS+ display, 1.3 GHz Quad core Cortex A9, 12 core GeForce GPU and runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.01. Asus Transformer Prime ICS update to roll out starting January 12, Bootloader unlock tool to follow


Asus has officially announced on their Facebook Page that the Asus Transformer Prime would receive the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update Over the Air (OTA)  start January 12th 2012  worldwide. They are also developing an unlock tool for the modding community who would like to have the bootloader unlocked. The warranty of the device will be void once the bootloader is unlocked and Google video rental and other DRM service would also be unavailable. Asus Transformer Prime now up for pre-order in UK, shipping in January

Asus Transformer Prime is now available for pre-order from UK’s online retail store, Clove UK. There are two variants, one with 32GB internal storage and a keyboard included, and one with 64GB memory and no keyboard included. Asus announced the tablet last month and it got rooted earlier this month after few days it was made available in the US. Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime with Quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 CPU announced

Asus has announced their Eee Pad Transformer Prime Android tablet with Quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and 10.1-inch LED backlit display that offers 178-degree viewing angle and has a maximum brightness of 600 nits. The tablet is powered by Quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and runs on Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) with an update to Ice Cream Sandwich expected soon. It is 8.3mm thick and comes with a mini-HDMI output, microSD slot. The keyboard dock has Multi-touch pad, SD Card reader and a USB port.
