ASUS Zenfone 5 Lite with 6-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 630/430, dual front and rear cameras announced

Along with the Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 5Z, ASUS also introduced the Zenfone 5 Lite at the MWC 2018 in Barcelona. It has a 6-inch Full HD+ display with 1.79mm slim bezel and 80.3% screen-to-body ratio with support for glove touch. It is powered by Snapdragon 630 or 430 SoCs with 3GB or 4GB RAM. It runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with ZenUI 4.0, but it will get Android Oreo update with ZenUI 5.0 by Q3 2018, says the company. It has a 16MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 0.03-second PDAF, LED flash along with a secondary 120-degree wide-angle camera. Asus Zenfone 5 with 18:9 display, top-notch, dual rear cameras, more Zenfone 5 Lite images surface

Asus is expected to introduce the new Zenfone 5 series at the MWC 2018 event on February 27th in Barcelona. Renders of one of the Zenfone 5 variant with 5.7-inch FHD+ display, dual rear cameras, metal body surfaced recently, later press shot of the Zenfone 5 Lite surfaced, now images from the Zenfone 5 ZE620KL (X00QD) manual shows that the phone will have a iPhone X-like top-notch and a full-screen display. It also shows dual rear cameras with fingerprint sensor on the back and a unibody metal design. Asus launched the Zenfone 5 Lite (A502CG), a cheaper variant of the Zenfone 5 in Philippines last month. Now the smartphone is available in India on Flipkart. It has a 5-inch qHD screen with Soda-lime glass screen protection, is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 SoC and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Asus unveiled the Zenfone series of smartphone earlier this year at the CES and launched them in India few months back. Now the Taiwanese manufacturer has launched the Zenfone 5 Lite (A502CG), a cheaper variant of the Zenfone 5 in Philippines. This has a 5-inch qHD screen with Soda-lime glass screen protection and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 SoC, compared to the 5-inch HD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor, but has the same design as the Zenfone 5.
