Asus launched the Zenfone 5 Lite (A502CG), a cheaper variant of the Zenfone 5 in Philippines last month. Now the smartphone is available in India on Flipkart. It has a 5-inch qHD screen with Soda-lime glass screen protection, is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 SoC and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Asus unveiled the Zenfone series of smartphone earlier this year at the CES and launched them in India few months back. Now the Taiwanese manufacturer has launched the Zenfone 5 Lite (A502CG), a cheaper variant of the Zenfone 5 in Philippines. This has a 5-inch qHD screen with Soda-lime glass screen protection and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 SoC, compared to the 5-inch HD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor, but has the same design as the Zenfone 5.
