ASUS already confirmed that it will launch its flagship Zenfone 6 after it was announced at an event in Spain last month. Now Flipkart has confirmed that the phone will launch in India on June 19th, but as 6Z, after a recent high court order not to use ‘Zen’ or ‘ZenFone’ due to trademark issue. ASUS India website still shows ‘Zenfone 6’ but this should change soon.

It packs a 6.43-inch Full HD+ NanoEdge display, Snapdragon 855 with up to 8GB of RAM, Android 9.0 (Pie) with ZenUI 6, Flip camera with 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor along with a 13-megapixel 125-degree ultra-wide lens and a 5,000mAh battery with QuickCharge 4.0.

ASUS just announced Zenfone 6, the company’s latest flagship smartphone at an event in Spain, as it had promised. It has a 6.46-inch Full HD+ no-notch LCD screen with narrow bezels and 92% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by Snapdragon 855 with up to 8GB of RAM, runs stock Android 9.0 (Pie) with ZenUI 6 with updates for Android Q and R in the future, and features a flip camera with 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 with Quad Bayer technology for 12MP effective images, along with a 13-megapixel 125-degree ultra-wide lens so that you can use it as both front and rear cameras, and the flip mechanism can be used in 90-degree position.
ASUS Zenfone 6 images with no-notch slider design, dual rear cameras surface
Less than a week from the launch of ASUS Zenfone 6, new images of the dummy unit has surfaced showing off it’s no-notch design, as revealed in the teaser recently. This shows a manual slider design, glass back, dual rear cameras and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Asus Zenfone 6 launched in India for Rs. 16999
Asus has launched the Zenfone 6 in India along with the Zenfone 5. It was unveiled along with other Zenfone smartphones earlier this year. The Zenfone 6 packs a 6-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) capacitive multi touch display with Corning gorilla glass 3 protection, powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor with PowerVR SGX 544 MP2 GPU and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) with Zen UI on top. It is also upgradable to Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. ASUS unveils the ZenFone range with 4, 5 and 6 inch screens sporting the ZenUI
After revealing the first Dual OS convertible, ASUS unleashed a whole new range of smartphones under the ZenFone range. Coming in three different screen sizes, the ZenFone line of devices are all about value for money and addressing choices in form factor as well as price. The three devices launched today are ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6 with the number denoting their respective screen sizes. All the phones are powered by the Intel Atom processors with different configurations for each model, lets see what each one packs inside.
