Nokia replies to Apple on the reception issue

Before the launch of the Apple iPhone 4, I never heard of the antenna problem or reception issue in phones. I have used a lot of phones, and I never face that problem. Apple iPhone 4 is no doubt a very gorgeous phone, but what’s the advantage of all that if you can’t make phone calls. If you hold it in your left hands, you will lose the reception. BlackBerry 9800 Slider hitting Rogers?

I never used a BlackBerry device in my whole life, but after seeing the new upcoming BlackBerry 9800 Slider, I want to try it. The BlackBerry 9800 is a quite beautiful phone, and we are waiting for it to come out so then we can give it a try. According to MobileSyrup, the first mobile network to carry this device in Canada will be Rogers. It’s also reported that AT&T will be carrying this phone in USA. A sneak peak of BlackBerry OS 6

There are lot of fans and users of RIM’s Blackberry phones, and the thing that’s all Blackberry folks are waiting for is Blackberry OS 6. RIM is planning to launch the OS 6 later this Summer (probably August), and the OS 6 is looking very promising and better than old versions. T-Mobile second half roadmap leaked !

Folks over at AndroidSPIN got their hands on the unofficial T-Mobile roadmap, which shows a lot of new device making their way to T-Mobile. Well, not to much details on it because the picture is blurry. We can clearly see that T-Mobile is planning to launch 5 new Android devices, 2 from Motorola , 2 from HTC, and one from LG.

Motorola and Blackberry maker RIM end litigation war, enter into agreement

Patent wars are bad for companies and users. It’s good only for those trying to take advantage of the loop holes in the system. In a surprising move Motorola and Blackberry maker RIM have entered into a agreement that ends all outstanding worldwide litigation between the two companies. Moto had sued RIM over patents last year. The agreement will involve sharing of patents between the two companies. Peace !  But we are still waiting to hear something about the Apple – Nokia legal battle !

Professional Networking service LinkedIn which is pretty popular amongst professionals and executives has released the first version of their mobile app for Blackberry phones. Since a lot of corporate users might be using a BB handheld , this app should help them stay in touch on LinkendIn. The iPhone app was launched recently and looked pretty impressive.
