We spotted the Nokia Laptop – Booklet 3G at SEE2009. Bill Perry from Nokia was using this as a main computer to showcase publish.ovi.com. The booklet was connected to a TV via HDMI. Imagine using your laptop for a while and then you look at the battery indicator and it says 10 hrs remaining. The Nokia Booklet 3G has been creating a lot of buzz ever since it was announced before Nokia World 2009. One of most interesting features of the Nokia laptop a.k.a booklet is the 12 hour battery life. You must have seen the tons of pics we got you from Germany and also figured out this gadget has a SIM Card slot too. But now enjoy the roundup of videos of this device.
While the Nokia Booklet 3G is going to be available for purchase in some markets soon , We got hold of the retail packaging box of the this ultrasmall laptop /netbook at NokiaWorld last week. The box carries the same tradition of the N97 with eco-friendly material. Also the front side carries a embossed version of the product.
I also spotted this carry case for the booklet which looks nice and trendy. But there was not much info on whether this is complimentary along with the booklet or needs to be purchased seperately.

I got my hands on the Nokia Booklet 3G which was announced last week. The netbook looks really impressive and its not a netbook for sure. Its got 3 usb ports an SD card slot a 16 cell battery if I heard it right from the Nokia booth. This booklet has a SIM card slot and might be available in some markets initially at an effective price of 575 euros. Nokia India might not get this laptop for now – looks like it. From the time when Nokia announced Booklet 3G, speculations are rife about the price that it shall be launched in the market. There are two prices being speculated in the at the moment 399 Euros and 799 USD which translate to Rs. 27,700 and Rs 38,800 respectively.
Keeping in mind that the Nokia Booklet 3G is a netbook, the price point seems to be a bit towards the higher side but a look at the specifications of the netbook makes the price of around Rs 30,000 seem justifiable if 12 hour battery life and HDMI support(Full HD playback) are indeed true.

Now Nokia is reportedly bringing a ARM-Based Smartbook in 2010 according to Taiwan-based handset makers.
