It looks like Apple is getting serious about autonomous cars as the company has registered for three car related domain names. The registrations were first spotted by MacRumors.
Ford has announced Smart Mobility plan and an experimental Share-Car project in India. The company has also revealed a total of 25 global mobility experiments in selected countries.
In addition to Android L and Android Wear, Google also unveiled its in-car connectivity OS. Dubbed as Android Auto, the voice enabled platform is especially designed for cars.
Rumors and speculations have started to fly off with less than a week left for Google’s I/O conference. Today, a report from Auto News suggests that Google will unveil an in-car operating system at the conference.

BMW Mini’s financial arm has launched “Mini Liquid Assets,” a mobile game available for download at no charge from the iTunes App store.
“Mini Liquid Assets” is an interactive game modelled after the traditional encased water jet games, infused with the Mini brand and intuitive controls that take advantage of the iPhone and iPod touch user interface. BMW’s Mini hopes to increase brand awareness among Apple’s coveted demographic using the application.
