Samsung announced their cross-platform messaging application ChatON two years back during October 2011. Earlier this year, in May, Samsung announced that their ChatON application had an user base of 50 Million and just four months later, they are now announcing that the user base has doubled since May and now a total of 100 Million users use Samsung’s cross-platform messaging application – ChatON.

Samsung’s cross platform chat application, ChatON, has received a major update bringing the version number to 2.0.5. The app serves as a competitor to the extremely popular WhatsApp and Asia based competitors like WeChat.
Samsung ChatON, cross platform mobile messaging service is now available for iPhone. Samsung announced the app this August and it comes pre-installed on the latest bada 2.0 devices.
