According to newly revealed insights from CMR’s Tablet PC Market Report Review for Q1 2022, which was released earlier today, the tablet market in India increased by 68% year-on-year (YoY), while the market for 4G tablets recorded growth of 74% YoY. The India Mobile Handset Market Review Report for Q1 2022 from Cyber Media Research (CMR) shows that 5G shipment growth was more than 300% YoY, with overall smartphone shipment growth of 1.6% YoY. India shipped 197.5 million mobile handsets, of which 78.4 million were alone shipped during the third quarter of the calendar year, according to CMR’s India Monthly Mobile Handset Market Review Report for 3Q 2016 ending September 2016. The report revealed that 66% of the phones in Q3 were Made in India.
