Samsung and Marvel team up to offer exclusive content for Galaxy Tab S users

Samsung unveiled two new tablets viz, Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 at an event today. In addition to expanding its tablet line up, Samsung announced a global brand partnership with Marvel Entertainment.

India leads in highest Facebook content censorship requests

India has become the number one country in the world to make maximum requests for content censorship on Facebook. The world’s largest social revealed in its Second Transparency Report that the Indian Government made 3,598 requests and asked for access to over 4,711 accounts.

Intel AppUp and the problem of content curation

Intel held its annual AppUp Elements conference in Seattle last week. Amongst the announcements including that of Tizen , one of the more relevant topics touched upon was content curation. The session led by Peter Biddle , GM AppUp Products , was a fresh look at the app curation model and how AppUp could innovate. The problem of app discovery is not one to be overlooked. To take an example , sorting through and finding the app you need from over 425,000 available on the iTunes store is a herculean task.
