This handset runs on the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system and it will be available exclusively on the airwaves of Sprint in the US. HTC EVO 3D comes with a 4.3 inch glasses-free 3D display, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 3G/4G capability, 3D video recording and more. Sprint is expected to unveil some amazing Android smartphones and tablets, next week at the CTIA show. HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO View 4G, Motorola Atrix 4G, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Nexus S 4G are some of the devices, which are expected to be announced next week by Sprint. Recently, the leaked specs of HTC EVO 3D and HTC EVO View 4G has been emerged. HTC EVO 3D is the company’s first 3D phone, which can record 3D videos in 720p. Nokia to announce new Symbian handset at CTIA for USA

Nokia is planning to launch a new Symbian device at CTIA on March 21 happening at Orlando, Florida. Nokia’s performance in the American market has been disappointing compared to other major mobile markets such as Europe, China and India. Looks like Nokia’s new CEO Stephen Elop has plans to refocus on the American market which is one of the biggest mobile markets.

Dear Nokia, If US Developers Don’t Come Now, I’m Afraid They Never Will

We all know that while there are a lot of cool developer houses in Asia, Europe and Africa, for whom coding for Nokia, and Symbian more specifically, is on the high priority list, there are still tons of amazing software companies in North America who would rather play the lottery by publishing their titles on iOS and Android amongst fierce competition by hundreds of thousands of other apps, than play The Wheel of Fortune and work on Symbian where getting any fame is almost a guarantee.

So why am I making the statement that if developers don’t come now, I don’t think they ever will? Well because of three factors essentially.

Samsung Galaxy S i9000 Full Specifications

JK Shin, president and head of Samsung Electronics’ Mobile Communications Business announced the global launch of the  Galaxy S (Model: GT-I9000)  at his keynote speech at CTIA Wireless 2010. The Galaxy S will be sold in Europe, North America, Latin America, Australia, and Asia this year. This handset is powered by a 4 inch super AMOLED display and Android 2.1 and uses a 1 GHz CPU. I am one lucky guy, I know that, I get to attend the premier events around the world when it comes to mobile technology and I get to play with the latest and greatest devices.  Sometimes devices I’m not at liberty to talk about for months.  So when I was at CTIA last week in San Diego I made sure to take a look at the N900.  My short introduction to it really hooked me.  I’m a big fan of HootSuite, a web based Twitter app and I was happily shocked when Chanse Arrington got it running on his N900 without any hitch or tweaking of settings during the GoMo News Blender.  I mean I was really impressed.  Then the next day Joe Gallo had 24 apps running simultaneously on his N900.  That’s not a typo, he really had 24 going.
