Word is that the DROID 4 from Motorola will come to Verizon by 22nd December (as it has now mustered the FCC); optimistically, Santa knows what I want. As confirmation that Verizon is preparing to unleash the Motorola Droid 4, this screenshot is from the DridDoes.com web page with a link to the Droid 4, on the Droid 3 web page. We may even see this slide-out QWERTY 4G LTE baby foregoing the Galaxy Nexus, and this wouldn’t astonish me at all. Ultimately, this would be an element of the Droid 4 web page.

Verizon discontinuing Droid 2 in favor of Droid 2 World edition?
BGR is reporting that Verizon is going to drop the Motorola Droid 2, and they will replace it with the Droid 2 World edition, which can tun on GSM/HSPA networks. That’s a good news for the people who are looking forward to the Droid 2, because if you love traveling other countries, then the world edition would be good for you. But if you already bought the phone, then this might be a bad news for you, but I don’t think so because the only different thing will be the radio frequencies, everything else would be same. This news is not 100% confirmed and not written on stone. So folks stay tuned with us, because we will keep you updated with it.
By the way I was thinking, isn’t Verizon thinking to replace it with LTE 4G version of Droid 2, What do you say?’

Motorola is no longer producing the Motorola Droid?
The news comes from Droid-Life, when their readers told them that they tried to claim their Droid over at mobile insurance company Asurion, but they were told that Motorola has stopped the production of the Motorola Droid and is no longer available in stock, and instead of Motorola Droid, they will replace it with Motorola Devour, Droid Eris, or LG Ally. So people if your Droid is insured, then don’t sit on it because Asurion is not going to replace it with a new Motorola Droid (Droid Eris is not a bad choice).
If Motorola has stopped the production of Droid, then it means that the Droid 2 is in production, which is a successor to the Droid 1. Somehow, the discontinuing of Droid 1 is not bad, because Droid 2 is a new, fast, and a better version, and people like buying new and improve stuff instead of buying something old. But Droid don’t think we’ll forget you, because you are known as the one of the best Android devices ever made.
Droid 2 running Froyo

Droid 2 is the successor to the old, but popular Motorola Droid, which is known as the one of the most sold Android devices ever. We saw the Droid 2 in theVerizon Summer catalog, in which we assumed that the Droid 2 will be out this summer. Later, we saw the photos of the Droid 2 hidden in the Droid Does website.
