Nokia Belle Refresh update now rolling out, already available for Nokia N8 in India

After a long time, finally all Nokia N8, E7, C7, C6-01, X7 and Nokia Oro customers are going to rejoice. Nokia support has just posted on their Nokia Discussions support forums that they have just started rolling out the update for Symbian called Nokia Belle Refresh for the Nokia N8, Nokia E7, Nokia C7, Nokia C6-01, Nokia X7 and Nokia Oro with version number 111.040.1511. Nokia E6 will have FW version number 111.140.0058. It is already available for the Nokia N8 in India. Exclusive : Nokia E6 Unboxing

We were at the Nokia E6 Meetup here in India and got a chance to unbox this latest Symbian handset from Nokia. The E6 runs on Symbian Anna and is the first true e-series touchscreen phone to come with a QWERTY keyboard. Nokia is calling it a Touch and Type phone. Dive in below for the unboxing video. Nokia X7 and E6 Finally Shipping

Nokia just announced via its Nokia Conversations corporate blog that it has begun shipping its latest Symbian devices , the Nokia X7 and E6 as of today. The Nokia X7 is a monoblock form factor device with a 4″ screen and the same internals as the Nokia E7 and other Symbian 3 devices. The Nokia E6 on the other hand makes it a bit more interesting by mixing the classic portrait qwerty design of the E72 with a new high resolution touch screen panel and upgrading the specs all over. Now with the same internals as other S^3 devices , the phone has what can be termed as a retina display.

Nokia Deep Dive: Nokia E6 hands on pictures!

I have been invited to a nice little event here from Nokia Austria, dubbed “Nokia Deep Dive”. The whole event was made to show a handful of bloggers and developers here in Austria, the newly introduced Symbian Anna and the 2 new devices that will come with it out of the box, the Nokia E6 and X7.

Starting off with the Nokia E6, i can not tell you how much i like this device. Being a long time E71/E72 fan, i always had a weak spot and was always hoping for a worthy replacement. And while some of you might disagree because of the camera, I’m fine with what i get. I’m not a fan of Nokia’s recent idea of full focus cameras either, but usability still is No.1 for me. My hopes were high for a successor, that gets rid of the dusty old Symbian S60 3rd edition, and Nokia delivered. They even went on and replaced the old QVGA screens with a shiny new capacitive, multitouch touchscreen with a brand new VGA resolution. This results in a 326ppi, in other words, the screen is extremely sharp.

Nokia E6 Price and Availability

Nokia announced the E6 earlier today and it is a successor to the popular E72 handset.You must have seen the photos. The E6 packs a display with a 640×480 pixel resolution in such a small form-factor. It’s still powered by a not so fast  680MHz processor which makes it possible for this handset to quote a 14.8 hour talk time on GSM and 7.5 hours on 3G with almost 30 days of stand by time. The handset also ships with the Symbian Anna update which brings a new UI and other features.

Nokia E6 Photos and Video Leaked

The much anticipated Nokia E6-00 QWERTY Symbian^3 phone has been leaked again with plenty of photos and videos of the device. The screen seems like a VGA screen and we would be seeing a Touchscreen E-series device in a form factor same as the E5,E71, E72. There is a 8 MP Camera on the Back with a LED Flash. We can also see the loud-speaker grill on the rear.
