Microsoft has updated Facebook for Windows Phone with several major and new features. First, users can now upload videos directly to Facebook from their Windows Phone devices.
Facebook rolled out its self destructing messaging app Slingshot globally in June. Today, the social network is updating the app with ‘reactions’, a feature that enables users to reply with a reaction to photos without having to first reply with another photo.

Facebook officially launched its self destructing messaging app Slingshot last week. The app which enables users to send and receive photos and 15 second videos that disappear after they are viewed was only available in the US. Facebook has updated its beta Windows Phone app with new video uploading feature. Windows Phone 8 and 8.1 users can now upload videos to Facebook directly from their mobile. At the menu bar at the bottom of the app there are three buttons Status, Photo and Check -in. By clicking on the Photo button users can now select a video to upload to their Facebook account.
