Following the successful launch of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G in India, the Chinese manufacturer has begun seeding the new MIUI V6.3.5.0 (KHIMIBL) firmware update to Redmi Note 4G handsets in India and Taiwan. The Pebble smartwatch, one of the forerunners in the rapidly expanding wearables market, has been going through a transformation in software rather than hardware for quite a while now, since the introduction of more capabilities in its v2.0 update. Today, it has gotten its .1 release, a minor update to the Smartwatch’s firmware which is mostly bug fixes and a couple of new features. Also updated are the official iOS and Android apps, which have gained a minor update with bug fixes mostly. The updates are a sign of platform maturity, as big feature releases for the hardware are almost done, in our opinion, but hey, we always love surprises.

Pebble, the popular E-ink Smartwatch just recently got updated to support all iOS notifications and the new 2.0 SDK. But as an early Christmas present, the company has released another Firmware update(v1.14) for the Smartwatch that enables several new must-have features like Multiple Alarms with Snooze, Do not Disturb mode and improved notification control. We have been using this smartwatch for a while, and we must say, these additions were much needed and we are happy to see a small(but growing) company like Pebble deliver. The company, largely known as a Kickstarter success story, is on a path of refining the software for the Smartwatch, and the recent updates show that they are serious. With SDK 2.0 release, Pebble promised more app integration from the like of Foursquare and Runkeeper. While we are still waiting on that, it’s good to see more features added to it in the meantime.
You can update your Pebble by just connecting it to your phone and opening the app. The app will do the rest.
The Oppo Find 5 is one of the very few phones in the world to receive updates driven by the community. If you had read our review, you might have have noticed us mentioning the overwhelming community support the device gets. Yes, there is a robust feedback system that the company employs thanks to the limited availability and a responsive fan base. Considering the feedback, they released an OTA update earlier, with bug fixes mostly dominating the changelog, and similarly there is another update available now, but this time they have added quite a lot of feature, read past the break to find the changelog.

Oppo Find 5, an impressively built 5 inch 1080p Android Smartphone has received a new firmware update based on user feedback and complaints. The firmware codenamed X909EN_13_130514 is bringing a lot of bug fixes previously stated by Oppo Find 5 users. If you had noticed, we had recently unboxed the Oppo Find 5, and found it quite impressive. Now that a new firmware is here, we will be reviewing the phone real soon.
