The Elife E7 is Gionee’s first flagship smartphone that is aimed at the premium high end segment of the market. The device is powered by the powerful Snapdragon 800 processor and sports a seemingly good 16 MP camera, which brings it closer to the likes of other flagships like Nexus 5 and the even the S5 to an extent, but offers a price advantage making it one of the best VFM products out there. The Elife E7 is Gionee’s first real attempt at cracking the top end segment of the market, a really good one at that. We had unboxed this flagship device earlier, after it launched in the Indian market with an attractive price tag of Rs. 29,999. Being a flagship, it comes with specifications that resemble one, and that includes the massive camera module at the back, which houses a large sensor from Omnivision and an equally large lens unit from Largan, a precision manufacturer from China. Gionne has launched the most expected Elife E7 in India today, as we reported recently. The Elife E7 was announced last month and packs a 5.5-inch (1920  x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS touch screen display based on One Glass Solution from JDI with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a 2.33mm ultra-narrow frame, powered by a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with Amigo 2.0 UI that brings Double tap to wake up, draw gestures on the black screen to go directly into the customized corresponding procedures and wake up the phone with voice control.

Gionee announced the Elife E7 at an event in Shanghai, China last month. Gionee has just sent us an invite for the launch event in India on December 24th. It packs a 5.5-inch (1920  x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS touch screen display based on One Glass Solution from JDI with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a 2.33mm ultra-narrow frame, powered by a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with Amigo 2.0 UI. It packs a 16-megapixel auto focus rear camera with 1/2.3″ 1.34 µm Largan M8 sensor, 5 element Sapphire Lens and a 8-megapixel auto focus front-facing camera. It has a 5.5-inch (1920  x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS touch screen display based on One Glass Solution from JDI with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a 2.33mm ultra-narrow frame, powered by a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 processor for the 3G version and the LTE version has a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon MSM8974AC processor It runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with Amigo 2.0 UI. Gionee Elife E7 with 2.5GHz Snapdragon 800 (8974AC) processor launching on November 26th

Gionee has already confirmed that the Elife E7 would launch on November 26th at an event in Shanghai Film Museum in China. Now Gionee’s CEO Lu Weibing has shared on his Weibo page that the phone would feature a faster Qualcomm 8974AC quad-core chip clocked at 2.5 GHz, faster than the 8974AB chip. Even the Xiaomi Mi3 that was unveiled back in September features a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM 8974AB) processor, so the Elife E7 would be the first phone to feature the Snapdragon 800 (8974AC) chip.
