Gionee has launched the Elife E8, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in the E series in India, as it promised. It was announced back in June and packs a 6-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, is powered by a 2 GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795) 64-bit processor and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo UI 3.1 on top. It has a 24-megapixel rear camera with Dual tone LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera with wide-angle lens.

Gionee Elife E8 launching in India on October 8

Gionee has sent out invites for the launch of its flagship Elife E8 smartphone in the E series in India on October 8th. The company also announced that it will enter into e-commerce space, so we can expect for it to announce tie-up with a leading e-commerce player in India to sell the smartphone exclusively. Gionee Elife E8 (GN9008), the company’s upcoming E series flagship has been certified in China on TENAA. The company already confirmed that the it will launch the camera-centric Elife E8 later this year during the launch of its Elife S7 smartphone in India in April. According to the listing, the smartphone will feature a 6-inch Quad HD AMOLED screen, will be powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core processor, 3GB RAM, Android 5.0 OS with Amigo UI on top and 4G support.
