Gionee GPad G2 is the successor of the original GPad from Gionee that was launched in India back in May. The GPad 2 is considerably a big improvement over the original GPad with a better display, better processor, more RAM and better front facing camera. Cashing in on the popularity of giant sized Android phablets, Gionee has introduced a new entrant in the field called the GPad G2. We’ve got our hands on the behemoth with a 5.3 inch screen and decided to bring you a photo gallery while we put it through its paces.
The GPad G2 is powered by a 1.2 Ghz quad core processor that is paired with 1 GB of RAM. The screen has a resolution of 960×540 and is called a True Color display.We’ll have more on this in our review. At the back of the phone there is an 8MP camera that can capture 720p video. Indian budget Android device manufacturer, Gionee, has introduced yet another model dubbed the G Pad – G2. The G2 is the company’s 10th product over the course of three months and features a rather large 5.3 inch display. Gionee has launched the GPad G2 smartphone, successor of the Gionee GPad G1 in India. It has a 5.3-inch (960 × 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen True Color display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel camera with LED Flash, 720p HD video recording and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It has in-built in-built Digital Theatre System (DTS) Sound, YAMAHA 168 music system for enhanced audio experience. It comes with range of pre-loaded apps including Facebook, NQ Security, You Tube, Twitter, You Tube and more.
