Gionee has started rolling Android 4.4 (KitKat) update for the Pioneer P4 smartphone in India. It went on sale in India back in April running Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS. The company rolled out KitKat update for the Elife E7 mini and Elife S5.5 smartphones in India recently. Along with the Android 4.4′s features such as wireless printing, support for emojis and more, this update also brings a new homescreen layout, update for Amigo Paper and Game Zone and more. Gionee Pioneer P4 with 4.5-inch display, quad-core processor now available online for Rs. 8399

Gionee Pioneer P4, successor of the Pioneer P3 that was launched few months back is now on sale in India online. It has a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) display, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). It packs a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
