When you are about to create an event on the web, simply select the “Out of office” Calendar entry. Google reportedly testing a completely redesigned Google Calendar for Android

Google Calendar app for Android released on the Google Play Store

Google has finally released the Google Calender app on the Google Play Store for the devices running on 4.0.3 or later. This app was previously available only on the Nexus S and the Galaxy Nexus devices. This would let you sync the Google calendar to the Android devices, create, edit and delete events and also respond to invitations.
