Hangouts and Google Plus update for Android

At a Google Plus focussed event, the company announced that the iOS app will be getting additional features to bring it at par with the Android app. The iOS app will soon be able to do full resolution back ups. It will also get background sync capabilities that should enable you to use Google’s cloud service to backup your images online. It is believed that the application will make use of the background update capabilities introduced in iOS 7. Google+ has been updated to version 4.0.1 that brings notification sync that syncs you read and unread notifications across mobile and desktop. This update also bring option to delete photos, new slide-out menu design similar to other Google apps and lots more new features. Google+ for Android has been updated to version 2.6 that brings new UI and improved navigation. Google+ for iPhone got these features earlier this month. Google+ for Android v1.0.7 update brings Hangout and lots of new features

Google+ for Android has got a major update to version 1.0.7, that brings the Hangout to the Android phones (Android 2.3+ and front-facing camera) that lets you join a hangout on the Google+ stream. Huddle is now renamed as Messenger.
