The nearly two-year-old shift from Hangouts to Google Chat will enter its last phase, according to a blog post from Google. Rumoured long time as the Google Babel, the company just unveiled a new product at the I/O conference, called as Google hangouts. This is a cross platform messenger with free group video calling and the ability to archive the whole chat history. This app is available immediately starting today for iOS, Android and Chrome on the web/desktop. This applications combines and replaces all of the messaging services that previously existed, like Google+ messenger, Gtalk and Hangout video chat into one app – the Google hangouts.
